When we think of Africa’s wildlife, our minds often drift to the endless plains, thrilling safaris, and one of the most extraordinary natural spectacles on Earth: The Great Migration. Stretching across more than 15,000 square kilometres of vast grasslands, the Serengeti is home to some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. From powerful lions and swift cheetahs to towering elephants, graceful zebras, and the mighty wildebeest that move together in their millions. Nowhere else on the planet is wildlife so abundant, so vibrant, and so alive. Because of this remarkable ecosystem and its breathtaking biodiversity, the Serengeti has earned its place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a sanctuary where nature’s greatest stories unfold. But the Serengeti is more than a place. It is a movement. Just like our theme, ROOTS – A Journey Back to the Motherland, the Serengeti represents the powerful migration of bodies moving together with purpose and rhythm. And just like the great herds that cross these plains, we too move as one; parading through the streets to the rhythms and beats that travelled with us from Africa. These rhythms live deep within our hearts and souls. They represent our birthplace and the very fabric of our being. Every great story begins with a journey. So why not begin Season 4 with the greatest migration on the planet? Let’s start it now. Let’s start it here. Let’s start it in the Serengeti.
